Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and government services sector, is seeking a Technical Architect - Adabas to join their team. As a Technical Architect - Adabas, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure and System Modernization department supporting the Mainframe Migration and One Health initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Technical Architect - Adabas
**Location:** Quincy, MA
**Pay Range:** Up to $82.76
**What's the Job?**
+ Design, implement, and maintain Adabas and Natural One applications to support system modernization efforts.
+ Develop architectural blueprints ensuring scalability, performance, and security of the applications.
+ Collaborate with development teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support system installations, configurations, and upgrades.
+ Monitor system performance using tools such as Adabas Manager and optimize database performance through query tuning and buffer pool management.
+ Support the migration of mainframe applications to new infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to security standards.
**What's Needed?**
+ 10+ years of professional experience with ADABAS, Natural, and related products.
+ Proven experience in architecting and developing enterprise applications using Adabas and Natural.
+ Strong knowledge of database design principles, data modeling, and database administration tasks.
+ Experience with system management tools, utilities, and performance monitoring tools such as ADAREP, ADABAS, and ADASAV.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
