The Data, AI & Analytics Intern will support Lilly’s Manufacturing & Quality organization in leveraging data-driven insights and emerging AI technologies to enhance operational performance, product quality, and decision-making.

This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world manufacturing data, analytics tools, and use cases in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Work with Manufacturing & Quality teams to understand business processes, data sources, and performance metrics

Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from production, quality, and operations systems

Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key operational and quality KPIs

Support exploratory data analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

Assist in building or evaluating AI/ML models for:

Process optimization

Quality prediction and deviation analysis

Root cause analysis and anomaly detection

Document insights, methodologies, and recommendations clearly for business stakeholders

Present findings and outcomes at the end of the internship
