Position Summary
CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the pharmacy to excel in a complex, high-impact dispensing role and positively impact others' lives. As a Pharmacy Technician working in the backend of the pharmacy, you will be responsible for all aspects of the filling of mail-order prescriptions. As a backend Pharmacy Technician, you will work directly with the medication and the filling of automated machines. Hours and Days for this role are flexible: 24 hours per week

Starting pay: $17.00/hour

Required Qualifications

Regular and predictable attendance based on our policyThe ability to work business required overtime (BROT) when neededAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 40 poundsStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals (including the ability to calculate dosages and days supply prescriptions


Preferred Qualifications

Experience working as a Pharmacy TechnicianExperience working in a pick/pack/ship environmentExperience reading/interpreting prescription terminology and medications


Education

A verifiable High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
