Team Supervisor - Project Support Engineer-Bengaluru,India

Job Summary

The Supervisor is a Player Coach role. The lead will be expected to assign & review tasks and oversee the completion of the requested deliverables. They will be responsible for overseeing the shifts and supporting the team

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Technical Criteria:

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in AV CAD Designer Clear understanding of AutoCAD Architectural, Wiring, Wire listing, Cable Schedule, and IP Spreadsheet with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and reliability of AV designs by conducting quality checks and evaluations. Should be able to prepare & present reports for management independently or should have past experience in presenting reports Proficiency in CAD software for AV system design

Recruitment

Filter candidates with the recruitment team. Guide in Round 1 selection of interviews Will accompany the Team Manager/and or Functional Manager in interviews or represent them at times

Onboarding

Work with L&D for a training plan, assessments, periodic learning interventions

Process monitoring, analysis & improvement. Quality Assurance

Processing lots of data Proactively suggesting and proposing enhancements based on Data insights

Day-to-day supervision of associates

Overall supervision on attendance Assigning the projects to the right individuals and ensuring delivering on time Quality checks Coordinating with project leads for clarifications Responding to general questions on Diversified, workplace, and policies

Time off and shift attendance management

Scheduling Time/Shift attendance Overseeing PTO and holiday approvals to ensure adequate coverage

Representation of team for local activities

Represent and nominate team members for work and other activities

Communication and reporting

Report to the Team manager/and or Functional Manager Attend certain GCC functional team meetings along with the Team Manager/and or Functional Manager

Ongoing talent management

Work with the employees to achieve their targets by guiding, removing hurdles Setup the team KPI’s and performance targets Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to associates Be the channel for associates to bring questions concerns, ideas to the organization Provide data to Managers

Performance reviews

Lead and champion PMS with Team manager/and or Functional Manager and HR Ensure reviews are filled, submitted, reviewed before submitting it to the Team manager/and or Functional Manager Play an active part in Rewards & Recognition

HR Issues

Be the champion on Employee Experience and Engagement Wear the hat of the associate and the management for decision making

Education/Certifications:

Relevant experience in people management Certification pertinent to technology area(s) of expertise

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Must have the ability to communicate regularly with the team in English Effective leader who can facilitate a team concept Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skilled in AutoCAD, Bluebeam REVU, and audiovisual engineering Ability to communicate well with others remotely via video and audio conferencing Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as a team member on various projects Must be high energy, analytical, and detail oriented Good time management skills and ability to handle time deadline pressure

 

Work Type Classification: Hybrid

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
