Job Description
We are seeking a Team Supervisor to oversee the cleaning and maintenance operations. This role involves managing all paint booth cleaning activities and handling solid and hazardous waste. The supervisor will lead a team of 11-20 workers, ensuring safety and efficiency in all processes.
Responsibilities
Supervise a team responsible for cleaning the paint shop, including emptying system debris, tool cleaning, clearing filtering screens, using magnets to catch metal contaminants, and removing paint processing waste.Understand and enforce safety principles, safety guidelines, Confined Space Safety, and Process Quality Principles.Interact effectively with the customer at all levels and fill in for the site manager when needed.Lead teams, coach other supervisors, and effectively interact with union personnel.Apply the principle of managing by walking around, ensure detail orientation, and create Excel documents as required.Create, implement, and follow through with corrective action plans, conducting walkthroughs with employees to coach them on areas needing improvement.Plan and coordinate shutdown activities, including work planning, supply procurement, and communication with the union.Communicate effectively with the site manager and other necessary parties regarding daily activities at the end of the shift or during the shift as needed.Essential Skills

The position operates on a 2nd Shift schedule from 4pm to 2:30am, Thursday through Sunday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $26.44/hr.
