What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities team located in downtown Toronto, ON is currently seeking a licensed Team Operations Manager to assist in administering all aspects of the day to day operation of a large advisor team. This is an exciting, challenging role in one of the largest Branches in the system. The ability to learn and grow in this role is vast.

The Team Operations Manager fulfils a leadership role within an advisor team by providing management and employee relations support to the Advisor and Support Staff. This role is Management and Human Resources related with additional book of business responsibilities and requires the ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure of daily deadlines, and keep organized while working under frequent interruption. The Team Operations Manager will work closely with the Advisor and Branch Management and reports directly to the Branch Operations Manager.

What will you do?

Manage business and team management with input from the Advisor.Manage operations and human resources needs of the team.Manage all team operations with approvals by Advisor as needed/ team operations oversight.Assist Advisor with all aspects of team HR management including performance reviews of  Associates, Trading and Admin and Operations teams.Training and development for support staff - You will be dealing with support staff on a daily basis. While indirectly supervising, you will also be providing leadership and coaching to all support staff.Host weekly Team Operations Meeting with Admin team & Associate Advisors.Host Quarterly Business Development / Outstanding Opportunities meeting – Hosted by Advisor and Operations Manager.Assist Advisor with managing team expenses, BDA and operational needs.Assist Advisor with Management of key business metrics.Assist with opportunity tracking and reporting for team.Manage lower end client transitions to fee, asset consolidation or transition to home of best fit.Lead marketing and branding for team.Client Experience Management and Service Plan coordinator for team.Special projects Team, Business or clients.Team and other business compliance.Assist Advisor with managing his calendar, email and other scheduling priorities with clients or internal partners/contacts.Manage Information and Technology Strategy and implementation for team.Review, update and ensure consistent execution of key team processes.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$46,000.00 - $70,000.00

This position includes competitive-based pay, and the overall earning potential is impacted by a variable incentive structure, earning a multiple of salary up to:

1.0x
