In-Process quality Inspector is responsible to ensure the Quality management system is being followed in the plant and good parts are being shipped to customers.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

Hands on experience in Measuring InstrumentsAbility to read and understand Drawing specifications and standards - Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD & T)Experience in Data collection, monitoring of daily rejection trend and problem-solving techniques like 8D , 7QC toolsParticipating in CFT activities - Problem solving, Process Evaluation etc.Experience in Layered Process audits, Safety Audits, process audit, product audits & Dock audits.Attitude to learn in new process initiatives / improvements.Experience using CMM (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine)Knowledge of Quality Tools (Control Charts, Run charts, Statistical Process Control, Gage R & R, Calibration)Hands on experience in SAP - QM module

Job Requirements & Qualifications (Mandatory requirement)

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Key Competencies

Action OrientedTimely Decision MakingFunctional/Technical Skills – PPAP, PFMEA, Control plan, SPC, CMM.Problem Solving – 8D Analysis, 7 QC toolsSoft skills like Microsoft Excel , Power point , etc
