What is the opportunity?
You will support the national onboarding of home advisors, fostering a strategic and agile talent approach that enables us to attract, select and onboard strong performers – ensuring we are well positioned to deliver best in class home equity advice to our clients.
As a Team Manager, you motivate and coach a high-performing team of Home Advisors in a dynamic, proactive environment which help our clients with a variety of Mortgage needs including refinancing, switch, and purchase transactions. You will help your team ensure we are going above and beyond to help our clients achieve their goals. You will add value by increasing your team’s skills and capabilities, by championing an exceptional client experience and by advocating the OneRBC approach in nurturing client relationships. You will create meaningful and memorable experiences that drive client satisfaction and loyalty, by leveraging your credit and relationship building expertise.
What will you do?
Through your advocacy and proactive feedback, spearhead and influence role evolution as you and your team transform how we deliver exceptional value and advice to clients throughout their secured lending transactionInspire high employee engagement through talent management, development and career planningMaximize the performance of the team through strong sales management routines and coaching abilityInspire, orchestrate and pioneer a superior home buying journey to deliver a memorable client experienceCoach your team on client advice and education, problem resolution and prevention at first point of contact, and advocate for digital enablement and multichannel usageAdvocate the OneRBC approach, collaborating with internal partners to create and fulfill on tailored advice solutionsDistribute leads, champion and validate a regular contact strategy, diligently promoting the use of RBC systems that enable and nurture client relationshipAddress evolving business needs through appropriate recruitment and management practicesWhat do you need to succeed?
Must have
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a people management/coaching role within the financial industryProven success in business growth, as well as establishing community and client relationshipsAt least 2-4 years of proven experience in the financial services industry, focused on Credit advice or Mortgage fulfillment (including the end-to-end process for new Mortgage fulfillment)A change and agile mindset, which consistently delivers exceptional client experienceStrong interpersonal skills that build trust, drive loyalty and proactively seek to nurture and develop client relationshipsExcellent communication skills, time management, and prioritization and organizational skillDigital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)Flexibility to provide advice and service during evenings and weekends Note: This position requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts during the hours of operation: Monday - Friday 9am - 8pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm (local time zone)Nice to have
