Purpose of the Role:
To manage a team of on field and Desktop inspectors. To drive best practice claims handling performance both in terms of optimal claims outcomes and customer service, and the technical and professional development of their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Functional Responsibilities:
Manage the allocation of claims within their on field and desktop inspectorsProvide a technical referral point for team members and manage performance,Keep the (LoB) Senior Manager advised of key Complex loss developments and wider Complex trends. Execute strategic initiatives within their Inspectors team.Ensure Appraisals ‘Best Practices’ is maintained within their inspector team.Drive performance through required criteriaEnsure claims are accurately assessments and proactively look for compliment within agreed service levels Embed use of balance scorecard/KPIs within team Develop and implement initiatives with impact on processes, service and profitability2.
