Team Manager, APEx Ops
Description At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. The AMXL Proactive Execution (APEx) team provides resolution to complex customer problems that come with buying, delivering, or installing Heavy-Bulky products. The APEx Team Manager will be responsible for coaching, developing, and driving performance and engagement for an operations team handling the end-to-end product and service experience for Heavy-Bulky products. Key job responsibilities - Lead an operations team dedicated to ensuring excellence in the end-to-end customer experience for heavy and bulky products. - Prioritize the support and development of your direct reports. - Drive team performance and engagement through effective coaching and leadership. - Plan and execute process improvement initiatives. - Execute change management strategies. - Handle internal and external escalations with a high level of customer obsession. - Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Basic Qualifications - Experience implementing performance goals, monitoring and evaluating against pre-set goals and implementing action plans to resolve performance barriers as needed - Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers - Work flexible hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays - Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams - 6+ months of team management experience within the APEx space. - Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications - Experience participating in daily Kaizen events to identify and implement process improvement change initiatives - Experience in project management - Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. - Knowledge of workforce management systems.
