Team Leader- Production Support

Primary Function

Lead day to day workflow of all Production Support functions, meeting department deliverables; assist the Manager in obtaining feedback on key issues as they relate to the area; assist in training and development of Jr. Processors and Production Support.

Principal Duties

Lead staff and ensure processes are followedTrack and complete audit findings dailyPerforms Quality Assurance testing and reportingProvide guidance on all funding procedure requirements and policiesProvide guidance to and mentor more junior team membersAssist Manager in obtaining feedback from corporate personnel on closing issues; communicate issues to appropriate closer and work to alleviate future issuesAdminister performance reviews and corrective action plansWork with Manager to manage and process team pipeline and increase productionManage workflow to ensure all deliverables are met  Manages the staff, plans responsibilities, directs activities, and utilizes staff resources effectively, including modifying staff levels (e.g., hiring/terminating) to meet department goalsUtilize performance management and performance review processes effectively, on an ongoing basis, to maximize performance of employees, correct performance problems, provide development opportunities, and promote effective communication with employees. Determine staffing requirements and employee selection for most effective accomplishment of unit and corporate goalsPerforms additional projects and duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and Experience Requirements  

High School diploma required; College degree preferred3 years’ processing experience1+ years’ supervisory experience
