Team Lead - Procurement Change Management

**DESCRIPTION**
Leads procurement change management initiatives across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle by managing multiple projects, guiding supplier-related changes, and leading a team of specialists to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution of procurement updates while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Project & Change Management
+ Lead multiple procurement change management projects from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met.
+ Facilitate project planning with internal stakeholders to define scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and performance goals.
+ Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation using standard project management tools.
+ Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery.
+ Track project performance, monitor timelines, and communicate status updates to project sponsors and stakeholders.
+ Ensure accurate and timely execution of procurement attribute updates including RFQs, PO price changes, supplier master data updates, and supplier capability assessments.
Team Leadership & Development
+ Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Procurement Change Management Specialists.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
+ Assign resources effectively, guide team members through project stages, and provide developmental feedback.
+ Model strong leadership behaviors including integrity, resilience, and customer-centric decision-making.
Supplier & Cross-Functional Management
+ Guide supplier assessments, capability analysis, performance reviews, and compliance alignment.
+ Oversee supplier-side change initiatives including process improvements, compliance updates, and operational transitions.
+ Act as an escalation point to resolve supplier and cross-functional conflicts with minimal disruption.
+ Partner closely with procurement, finance, quality, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement
+ Maintain project documentation, databases, and records.
+ Document and share supplier review outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices across teams.
+ Use analytical and quality tools to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and sustainable solutions.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Qualifications**
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent discipline.
+ Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field).
**Certifications (Preferred)**
+ PMP, CPSM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent leadership / project management certifications.
**Skills and Experience**
+ 8–10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or supplier management.
+ Proven experience leading teams in procurement change management or transformation roles.
+ Strong hands-on expertise in RFQs, PO price updates, supplier master data changes, and supplier capability assessments.
+ End-to-end experience with Source-to-Pay processes including supplier onboarding, contract management, and purchase order lifecycle.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage supplier relationships effectively.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
