Job Title: Team Lead

1st Shift

7am-4pm

Pay: $16-$20/hr

Job Description

As a Team Lead, you will engage in routine and repetitive procedures that require basic motor skills. Your tasks will focus on mechanical assembly, hardware installation, and cable and connector assembly. You should have a basic understanding of safety, part placement, and ESD.

ResponsibilitiesProduction Oversight: Managing daily operations within the cell to ensure production goals are met efficiently and on time.Quality Control: Monitoring product quality and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.Team Leadership: Supervising and mentoring cell team members, providing training, and fostering a collaborative work environment.Process Improvement: Implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety procedures and working with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) teams to maintain a safe work environment.Reporting & Documentation: Maintaining records related to production, quality, and safety, and reporting performance metrics to management.Essential SkillsLean ManufacturingContinuous ImprovementSafety ProceduresLeadership and CommunicationProblem-SolvingAttention to DetailAbility to read and comprehend assembly directions.Teamwork and clear communication skills.Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.Punctuality, good work ethic, and a high sense of urgency.Additional Skills & QualificationsTeam Lead experience in a manufacturing environmentGood organizational skills.Experience with mechanical assembly and production.Tool usage experience (tools will be provided).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled electronics manufacturing facility with a front office section and a production floor. Non-static attire, such as cotton, is required when on the floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Havana, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
