**Job Title: Team Lead**
**Job Description**
The Team Lead effectively manages production areas to ensure that production schedules, quality, and safety requirements are met. This role requires adaptability to schedule and personnel changes to fulfill customer needs and delivery dates. The Team Lead observes daily production line progress, anticipates bottlenecks, and maintains an active presence on the floor to monitor, motivate, and drive success.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure daily production goals and objectives are met; take action when they are not.
+ Conduct daily production meetings at the beginning of each shift to communicate goals and progress.
+ Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reconciliation, paperwork, and inventory transactions.
+ Facilitate effective change-over of lines, tanks, and/or work cells.
+ Report continuous or major problems to the Maintenance Department immediately.
+ Complete required logs and administration to ensure compliance with government and company standards.
+ Maintain a culture of lean action and apply lean tools to implement improvements.
+ Institutionalize 5-S in all aspects of the department.
+ Verify MDI boards are accurately completed and appropriate actions are taken when standards are not met.
+ Utilize daily standard work for self and direct reports to reinforce a culture of discipline.
+ Manage the safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of the shop floor and workstations.
+ Ensure equipment cleaning and sanitation processes are followed and documented.
+ Ensure a clean and organized work environment adhering to housekeeping schedules.
+ Ensure OSHA safety requirements and company safety processes are followed.
+ Select and retain the right people for positions; choose the right candidates.
+ Provide training to employees, ensuring they acquire necessary skills and information.
+ Coach employees to succeed and develop them for future roles.
+ Conduct performance evaluations, objectively assessing performance against standards.

+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a clean manufacturing facility that is well-lit. The smell of soaps and cleaning solutions is present, which may be stronger in some areas. Masks are currently mandatory, and upon arrival, employees must complete a questionnaire and have their temperature taken. If an individual's temperature exceeds 100.4 degrees, they will not be allowed to enter the facility.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
