Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for serving clients in all of their insurance needs, in addition to, supporting the team in the day to day operations of the branch, training, coaching, and assisting with administrative duties when needed.

Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the Branch Leadership team, work towards the development of a high performing and engaged teamProvide feedback to the manager or supervisor for team members performance reviewsMaximize resources through effective schedulingEnsure compliance with all insurer (ICBC, CNS, Family etc.), Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations   Ensure control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documents and fundsSupport the continuous improvement, organization and efficiency of the branchMaintain strict confidentiality in regards to all corporate and employee issuesManage sales, retention and service needs of clients, balancing between Insurance Advisor and Team Lead duties as appropriateHandle and resolve client and dealership concerns in a positive proactive fashionEnsure employees are connected to Hub in the bigger picture and understand the mission, values and goals of HubStay current on education and training courses available and continue to develop your skillsProvide guidance to the team and lead by exampleDelegate tasks as appropriateOther duties and responsibilities as needed

Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications

Level 2 General Insurance License or actively pursuing Level 2 License1 year experience in the Insurance sales environment preferred, but will take all skills, abilities and experience into considerationDemonstrated abilities in providing exceptional client serviceDemonstrated leadership and teamwork abilitiesExcellent Insurance Product knowledgeSales drive and initiativeProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong communication skills

The expected salary range for this position is $52,000 to $62,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
