For purposes of annual merit evaluation, instructors are assessed at 85% teaching and 15% service obligations. Classroom teaching and coordination duties will both be considered as part of the teaching component. The successful candidate will receive a 3-year appointment and will undergo a reappointment review in order to be considered for a subsequent 3-year appointment (funding is not guaranteed after 3 years). The expected start is **Fall 2026** , pending final approval by the College of Arts & Sciences.
