***Anticipated Vacancy*** HFM BOCES Special Education Work Based Learning Program has an anticipated opening for a Teaching Assistant. The position will provide support by teaching and reinforcing important job skills to students who spend their school day on job sites gaining real world experience. The level of support needed for each student varies. Collaboration with businesses and school personnel is required. The successful candidate must partiticpate in training to transport students in school vehicles to various job site in Fulton and Montgomery Counties. Job Qualifications Certification: Teaching Assistant Certificate. TEACH Clearance Per Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, to be employed in a position designated by a school district or BOCES as involving direct contact with students, a clearance for employment from the State Education Department is required. Formal job offer/selection is contingent on candidate's ability to obtain a fingerprint security clearance through the TEACH system prior to working.
