Job Description:
JOB PROFILE SUMMARY
Responsible for conducting appraisals of insured dwellings of varying complexity across. The appraisal establishes an accurate replacement cost estimate, creates a concise record for features, finishes, utilities and overall construction, and helps clients manage risks to their home and possessions. The role includes initiatives aimed at providing personal growth opportunities, while supporting overall department goals.
Customer
Conduct insurance appraisals of TD's residential risks. Appraisal reports establish adequate coverage amounts, identify potential additional coverage needs, document and photograph materials, finishes and unique characteristics, and provide end-to-end risk mitigation and client consultation.Coordinate insurance oversight of construction projects, both renovation and new construction, and ensure adherence to agreed-upon timelines and loss control measuresContribute to the legendary customer experience by collaborating with internal and external partners while demonstrating accuracyManage customer relationships, promoting the TD brand by acting as the face of the company during appraisals.Analyze and resolve disputes related to customer complaints, replacement cost and risk engineering, etc.Review quotes of complex risks to provide replacement cost and risk management guidance.Quality control reviews of appraisal reports from internal staff as well as vendor companies.Shareholder

Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent experience required 2+ years of experience in residential insurance appraisals and/or related experience such with a preference for appraisals/inspectionsExperience in valuation of high value homes and specialty/unique features not commonly seen in residential construction is an assetArchitectural, construction, inspection, appraisal, high value real estate risk management or similar backgrounds are requisiteCRM/CIP considered an asset#LI
