The TBTC Centre Manager leads a high-performing team of sales, technical, and service professionals to deliver advanced technology solutions for Telstra business customers, driving both customer and financial targets. This role is responsible for setting a culture of excellence, fostering collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity, while shaping the centre’s strategic direction. Key duties include developing business plans, driving regional growth, ensuring operational excellence, and building strong relationships with local communities, including Indigenous and rural business customers. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, strong sales and performance management skills, and the ability to inspire and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.

As Centre Manager at Telstra Business Technology Centres, you will be a visionary leader with a passion for technology and a deep understanding of business customers.
This role is all about inspiring and empowering a high-performing team of sales, technical, and service professionals who support Telstra Business Plus customers in achieving their goals through innovative technology solutions.
Working closely with the Sales and Operations Leads, you’ll set the tone for a culture of excellence, where collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity are at the heart of every decision. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the centre’s strategic direction and driving its success.
You’ll also provide advanced solutions and best practice guidance, make commercially sound decisions, and share valuable insights with the TBTC channel team and senior Telstra stakeholders.
Your ability to lead with clarity, purpose, and resilience will be key to delivering results and building strong relationships with the TBTC channel, Telstra, our vendors, and most importantly, our customers.
We are seeking a TBTC Centre Manager - NSW Southern & Central. This position will be located in Wagga Wagga.

Lead with vision—develop and execute the annual business plan to exceed customer and financial targets.Drive regional growth, profitability, and performance reporting across sales, expenses, and inventory.Champion local market leadership through community engagement, media, and strategic campaigns.Build long-term relationships with Indigenous and rural business customers tailored to their needs.Collaborate with Telstra’s Regional Australian Team to embed brand presence in local communities.Ensure operational excellence through audits, compliance checks, and risk management.Resolve complex customer issues and conduct-related investigations with professionalism.Coach, mentor, and develop senior team members while fostering a high-performing, agile culture.Promote staff development through training, SMART goal setting, and career planning.Support sustainability and environmental initiatives within the local business community.About you
Essential Requirements:
Experience in leadership roles, with a proven track record of success.3 – 4 years sales experience.Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing sales teams.Experience implementing change management in fast-paced environments.Strong performance management capabilities to foster a committed, achievement-oriented culture.Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritise, manage operations, and make sound business decisions.Exceptional communication skills—written, auditory, and oral.Skilled in coaching, inspiring, and developing individuals and teams.Confident in managing difficult conversations and navigating sensitive situations.Resilient and adaptable leader, especially during periods of change.A strong advocate for the business unit’s strategy, values, and policies.Tertiary business qualifications preferred.If this opportunity sounds like a perfect fit for you, we'd encourage you to apply!
