As a Tax Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

Job responsibilities 

Document and coordinate system requirements from a tax perspectiveSupport team members by developing and laying out test plans for each defined requirementCollaborate closely with business and technology teams to manage defects, including identification, resolution, and retestingAssist the team in understanding and documenting the end-to-end (E2E) impact of system changesEnsure issues are promptly raised, escalated, followed up, and driven through to resolutionEstablish and maintain effective communication and engagement with key contacts across JPMC, including Tax and relevant project teamsAssist local management with other team initiatives as needed

Ability to work with, and use, large amounts of dataGood analytical skills, a problem solver, logical thinker with strong attention to detailExcellent written skills with clear, concise & logical documentationGood communication, negotiation and relationship management skillsExcellent organization & planning skillsTeam player with ability work with colleagues in a collaborative manner, as well as being able to proactively progress multiple tasks independently

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

1 years’ of experience in Indirect Tax compliance; experience in Tax Tech would be an added advantageWorking knowledge of automation tools (Alteryx / Tableau / Python)Background in financial services operations is an added plus
