Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Tax Senior in Tampa, Florida.
Work You’ll Do
Assess existing systems and develop new (or enhance existing) systems to streamline and accelerate processes and procedures. Identify processes and procedures that are repetitive, tedious, and inefficient and seek ways to streamline, eliminate, or automate. Advise on technologies and legacy enhancements and build out the applications and platforms. Work with and present directly to clients as the technical expert, joining technology and tax technical experience, to explain the technology aspects of our offering, and address questions from stakeholders and end-users. Assist in developing custom data analysis technology to address client-specific problems and provide technical expertise (both tax and data/technology) and normalize and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data by developing and engineering applications using .Net Core, C#, Angular, Type Script, Azure Function, SQL Server 2019 and other applications. Responsible for the development and motivation of staff and for providing leadership, counseling and guidance. Prepare and oversee project budget, milestones, deliverables and change requests for various Multistate Tax - Data & Technology projects. Will commute within the Tampa, FL area to perform the above job duties.
Requirements
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus eighteen (18) months of experience as a Tax Senior or related occupation gaining experience developing and enhancing technology solutions to streamline business procedures and processes.
Experience must include eighteen (18) months of:
Designing and developing code in C# to implement Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage and Service Bus Queues, and utilizing Azure API apps, C# and .NET core to develop APIs;Developing applications solutions and platforms to address client specific data technology issues and architecting data product strategy roadmaps through the use of engineering solutions;Developing cloud-based applications for data analytics and data visualization by leveraging SQL and Table storage;Utilizing Visual Studio and Azure DevOps to deploy created stored procedures to environments for testing;Identifying and analyzing current data trends and delivering business intelligence key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting recommendations for action;Working with DevOps teams to develop CI/CD pipelines, including automating deployment processes and establishing new infrastructure;Interacting directly with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, to gather data to support project objectives; andMentoring and coaching junior team members.Position requires less than 10% domestic travel outside normal commuting distance.
