Tax Senior, Global Planning

Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic Tax Senior to help drive our tax strategy, optimize financial outcomes, and ensure compliance in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. This position reports directly to the Tax Planning Senior Manager.

Responsibilities:

Strategize & Optimize: Support the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and support business and treasury goals, including structuring, entity rationalization, M&A support and global tax planning.Ensure Compliance: Oversee preparation of specialized tax disclosures for inclusion in the company’s Form 1120 filings, ensuring they accurately reflect the tax treatment of planning transactions.Collaborate: Develop impactful relationships with key internal stakeholders and external advisors to support various planning initiatives, including Pillar 2 compliance and reporting, intercompany financing, forecasting, and modeling impacts of key international tax provisions (GILTI, FDII and BEAT), and global cash management.Advise: Perform in-depth technical tax research on a variety of complex tax issues using authoritative tax resources such as the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, case law, and relevant IRS guidance; provide tax guidance on business decisions working closely with tax leadership and external partners. Mitigate Risk: Lead audit responses and proactively manage tax risks through thorough analysis.Innovate Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline tax procedures, implement new technologies or methodologies, and stay current with tax code changes through continuous learning.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related fieldCPA and/or active tax law license3+ years in tax planning or compliance in a Big 4 firm or U.S. headquartered multinational corporation.International tax experienceAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsWorking knowledge of ASC 740.Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.A desire for continuous learning and adaptation to the ever-evolving tax landscape.

Preferred:

Advanced degrees are strongly preferred. (Master of Taxation, JD, LLM in Taxation, MBA with Tax focus)Industry-specific experience (e.g. industrial manufacturing) or familiarity with complex tax structures.Experience with SharePoint, SAP BPC, and SAP ERP as well as tax software (e.g. Thomson Reuters, OneSource) a plus.
