Tax Manager
Job Title: Tax Manager - Partnerships
Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our NRE department. Our organization is expanding its portfolio, including real estate, renewable energy, infrastructure, and venture capital investments. As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in managing complex partnership tax principles, planning, compliance, and related reporting. This position is key to our mission of creating opportunities for people where they live, learn, and work.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and/or review the after-tax benefit schedule associated with various partnership investments such as renewable energy, real estate, and infrastructure.Oversee and review the preparation of hypothetical liquidation book value calculations for financial statements.Manage tax compliance and planning associated with partnership investments, including tax return review and correspondence with external tax preparers.Collaborate with the tax department and renewable energy department to optimize workflows and comply with co-investor and regulatory deadlines.Prepare quarterly tax estimates of anticipated tax credits and flow-through income/loss for internal and external reporting.Manage complex calculations associated with various federal credits, book capital accounts, and tax basis.Participate in due diligence for investments to manage risks, provide tax modeling, and review operating agreements.Review and maintain capital accounts, analyzing accounts for year-end fundings and deficit restoration obligations.Review and maintain book to tax differences related to partnership investments.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in tax compliance and return preparation in a public accounting firm.Proficiency in partnership taxation.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.Strong project management and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.Effective follow-through skills and high accountability.Additional Skills & QualificationsCPA preferred but not required.Experience with structuring transactions.Broad business knowledge in law, accounting, tax, and human resources.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to assess new business proposals.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
