We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Indirect Tax team. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in indirect tax, with the potential for growth within the department.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare indirect tax filings with accuracy and attention to detail.Research accounts payable invoices to identify applicable tax payments.Reconcile payments from tax filings to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting and finance principles.Experience with sales tax and tax return preparation.Strong skills in reconciliation and tax accounting.Knowledge of sales and use tax regulations.Familiarity with general ledger systems.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Work Environment
The role involves collaboration with a team of six professionals, including four members focused on indirect tax and two on special tax projects. The successful candidate will gain exposure to indirect tax, income tax, and special projects, providing a comprehensive understanding of the field.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
