Join our team as a Senior Analyst in State Tax Operations, where you will play a critical role in managing state income tax filings and US tax provision. This position requires a deep understanding of domestic tax concepts, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams. You should be adaptable to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
ResponsibilitiesResearch and document relevant tax laws and related tax positions.Provide subject matter expertise and training to internal teams.Support M&A and tax planning activities, including due diligence, acquisition integration, and technical analysis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology and automation solutions.Assist our State Operations teams on strategic cross-functional projects and workstreams.Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned.Enhance subject matter expertise through research and analysis in response to evolving business needs.Actively participate in tax integration projects for new acquisitions.Stay current in tax developments and establish a presence in the tax community.Develop continuous improvement skills within the business.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.3+ years of progressive experience with corporate income tax (Form 1120).Strong experience in state tax compliance.ASC 740 Tax Provision experience.Experience with tax projects and process improvements.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster's degree or CPA preferred.Experience with Corptax, PowerBI, Alteryx, or similar tools.Ability to work in a hybrid model (4 days a week in the office).Work EnvironmentOur workplace fosters a culture of innovation and progress. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $63.00/hr.
