Tax Analyst, Information Reporting & Withholding (AP Shared Services)

What this person will own (Day 1 impact):\n- End‑to‑end support of annual 1099, 1042‑S, and California Form 590 reporting\n- Collection, validation, and maintenance of W‑9 and W‑8 vendor documentation\n- Monitoring vendor payments to determine reportability and withholding requirements\n- Preparation support and reconciliation of tax filings to IRS and state agencies\n- B‑Notice handling, error resolution, and IRS correspondence support\n- Maintenance of compliance calendars and statutory deadlines\n- Partnership with Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data, and Tax teams to ensure data integrity\n- Support for internal and external audits, tax inquiries, and special reporting projects\n- Contribution to process improvements and automation initiatives within Shared Services\n\nIdeal background (strongly preferred):\n- Experience in a high‑volume AP Shared Services or centralized tax environment\n- Prior work supporting media, entertainment, or large corporate vendor populations\n- Exposure to vendor master data governance\n- Comfort partnering cross‑functionally with AP, Procurement, Legal, and Tax\n- Interest in process improvement and automation, not just compliance\n\nWhat will NOT be a fit (screen‑out guidance):\n- Pure public accounting tax prep with no information reporting exposure\n- Corporate tax provision / ASC 740–only profiles\n- Candidates without hands‑on 1099 / 1042 exposure\n- Early‑career AP clerks without tax compliance experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
