Tax Administrative Assistant
Our client, a professional services accounting firm, is seeking a Tax Administrative Assistant to join their team. As a Tax Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the administrative support department supporting the tax and client service teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Tax Administrative Assistant **Location:** Lynchburg, VA **Pay Range:** $41,600 - $52,000 annual salary **Shift:** 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday **What's the Job?** + Process, e-file, and send tax returns to clients, and prepare various documents such as invoices, reports, memos, and financial statements using office software. + Manage multi-line telephone systems by answering calls, providing information, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate personnel. + Operate and maintain office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, and phone systems, coordinating repairs as needed. + Coordinate meeting and conference call arrangements, including room bookings, technical setups, and catering services. + Assist in maintaining a professional appearance of conference rooms and common areas, including mail handling and kitchen supplies. **What's Needed?** + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred. + Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a professional service environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate to advanced level. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and punctuation. + Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects with attention to detail. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive professional environment. + Engagement in meaningful administrative work supporting tax and client services. + Potential for career growth within a reputable organization. + Exposure to diverse administrative tasks and professional development opportunities. + Work in a collaborative team that values inclusivity and diversity.
