Job Description
This role is responsible for overseeing international trade and tariff-related activities within the business line, consolidating and preparing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy in accounting records and reconciliations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and consolidate accurate financial statements.Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of tariff-related transactions.Lead monthly close activities, including the preparation and posting of journal entries.Leverage SAP and Excel for day-to-day accounting operations and data analysis.Perform general ledger reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.Collaborate with Logistics and Accounting teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy.Support accounting processes related to international trade, including tariff tracking, duties, and brokerage cost analysis.Act as a liaison between the accounting and logistics functions to streamline communication and processes.Research and stay current on accounting standards and regulatory changes affecting financial reporting.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing financial data accuracy and reporting efficiency.Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.At least 3 years of professional accounting experience.Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, macros, and data sorting.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is preferred.Familiarity with international trade regulations, including customs and tariffs, is a plus.Work Environment
The position is based on-site at the headquarters in Tampa, requiring in-office presence during standard working hours.

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
