TALENT TEMPORARY WORKFORCE: Lead Specialist (Senior Consultant Equivalent), PPMD Excellence, Leadership Development & Succession Team
Position Summary

This is a temporary salaried opportunity to join Deloitte Services LP for a short-term assignment.  

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill our Lead Specialist role between August 2025 and January 2026 for our PPMD Talent team.

The PPMD Excellence Leadership Development & Succession (LD&S) Talent Team provides intentional planning, identification, development, and selection processes and programs to identify, develop, and enable cross-business, firm-wide enterprise leaders for the Deloitte US firm. The LD&S team achieves our vision through both strategic cohort development as well as enterprise-wide succession planning and mobilization. The LD&S Lead Specialist (Senior Consultant equivalent) will be responsible for supporting efforts across strategic cohorts and succession, while helping to identify synergies and efficiencies across the team.

 

Work you’ll do:

The LD&S Lead Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development, planning, and execution of innovative and strategic initiatives and projects that support broader enterprise-wide development of leaders, including succession planning and mobilization. The Specialist will work closely with a variety of distinct and cross-business leaders and teams to drive collaboration and implementation of strategic programs and approaches.

 

Maintain utmost confidentiality and integrity of all work. The nature of the work of the LD&S team is highly confidential and cannot be disclosed to anyone outside of the team. The Lead Specialist must agree to only access information on a need-to-know basis and to not share any information with anyone outside of the teamTech enablement – Support HXM/SuccessFactors Succession Module MVP technology build and implementation efforts including data configuration and uploading, being a POC for testing, summarizing next steps, reviewing process guides, working with Talent Transformation on recommendations, etc.Support leadership development program processes, including organizing approach and curriculum, managing schedules, drafting comms and webcast content, and coordinating facilitatorsLead data consolidation including review and maintenance of sensitive LD&S data, requiring notable skills in data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.; organize data for easy retrieval, to include updating excel database real-time as insights come in, manipulating data, supporting ad-hoc requests, and identifying gaps in data to support requests– ensuring integrity and integration of various pieces of offline data specific to leadersDraft communications to strategic stakeholdersPrepare storyboard for US ELT and Board level presentationsLead and develop USI team members through the support of cross-workstream deliverablesActively seek strategic links, dependencies, and commonalities, while supporting ongoing connection points, with teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunitiesSupport core administrative functions of the team, including but not limited to managing coaching contracts, mailbox monitoring, communications, scheduling, and Teams maintenance

 

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

Strong PowerPoint, logical structuring and storyboarding skillsExcel / data management and reporting, including pivot tablesExceptional project management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly visible, multi-tasking environmentAbility to build and manage relationships in a complex, matrixed environmentStrong communication and delivery skillsSound strategic-thinking skills with an ability to effectively collaborate with team membersAbility to manage ambiguity across multiple priorities and to know when to escalate issuesExecutive stakeholder management / facilitation

 

The Team:

The LD&S team is part of the Deloitte US PPMD Excellence Team, which sets the strategy for the US Firm PPMD Talent lifecycle, covering admissions, succession, performance management, relations, and transitions. The national team collaborates with all Deloitte businesses to develop, assess, and guide the careers of our Partners, Principals and Managing Directors (PPMDs), in an objective, unbiased manner.

 

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum of 5 years of related experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

 

Preferred:

Experience in leadership developmentExperience using Qualtrics or other survey toolsProgram management / leadership curriculum development experience

 

 

Temporary employees are not eligible for Deloitte’s health benefits, life insurance, PTO or subsidies offered through the Health & Fitness program. They are, however, covered under Deloitte’s Business Travel Accident policy and may participate in Before-Tax Transit benefits. 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $72,900 - $134,300.
