Talent Onboarding Coordinator

At Related Affordable, we focus on hiring and onboarding strong talent to support our teams and communities. As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the hiring and onboarding process by ensuring an organized, timely, and positive experience for new hires, hiring managers, and internal partners. The Talent Coordinator provides new hire coordination, accurate reporting, and operational support to the Talent Acquisition team, emphasizing clear communication, organization, and attention to detail. This position is remote; however, candidates must be located in Illinois.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the pre-employment and onboarding process.Initiate, monitor, and follow up on background checks through HireRight to ensure timely completion.Coordinate offer letter acceptance documentation and onboarding paperwork.Partner with HR, Payroll, and Hiring Managers to ensure all onboarding steps are completed prior to the candidate’s start date.Communicate start date details, first-day instructions, and onboarding expectations to new hires.Maintain accurate weekly new hire reports in Excel, including start dates, position details, locations, and onboarding status.Ensure data accuracy and consistency between iCIMS and internal tracking reports.Track onboarding milestones and escalate delays or issues as needed.Update and manage candidate records in iCIMS.Support interview scheduling and coordination as needed.Prepare offer and onboarding documentation using Word.Manage communication and calendar coordination using Outlook.Support ad-hoc hiring and onboarding reporting requests.Ensure compliance with internal hiring and onboarding procedures.Contribute to a positive and professional candidate experience.Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and business goals.

Anticipated salary range:

$26.45 – $31.00 /hr. Annual Performance BonusThis position is Non-Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. 

 

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

Qualifications

Must have 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, or HR support.Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.Experience using an applicant tracking system, iCIMS is strongly preferred.Must be familiarity with background check platforms such as HireRight.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to influence and build lasting relationships.Must have the ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to evaluate situations, identify issues, and support effective solutions. Listens actively and communicates clearly and professionally.
