OUC – The _Reliable_ One , an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship program in the Employee Experience division.
The OUC Internship Program is dedicated to providing students with real-world, hands-on experience by partnering with energy leaders and experienced professionals, while bringing new and out-of-the-box perspectives and ideas that are essential for fostering the creativity and growth of any business. OUC’s internship program provides emerging talent with an immersive view of the utility industry through on-the-job training, educational sessions, self-paced learning courses, and individual or team projects.
We are looking for a **Talent Analytics** **Intern** . During this internship, you will partner with the **Talent Acquisition** team.
**You will be involved in:**
+ Analyze recruitment and workforce data to track metrics such as time-to-fill, internal vs. external hires, pipeline status, application sources, and vacancy trends.
+ Support talent strategy initiatives by providing insights on workforce planning, retirements, and critical role coverage for the next several years.
+ Develop dashboards and visual reports (Power BI preferred) to present recruitment trends, talent pipeline metrics, and organizational workforce insights.
+ Collaborate with TA partners and HR teams to review data, inform hiring strategy, and provide actionable recommendations to improve recruitment effectiveness.
+ Assist with special projects and executive reporting, including HR data analysis, market trend research, and preparing summaries for leadership presentations.

**Internship Eligibility:**
+ Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
+ Academic status of Senior or above.
+ Program of study: Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application.
+ Authorized to work in the United States.
+ Previous internship experience preferred
**The Ideal Candidate will have:**
+ Understanding of data analysis and metrics interpretation
+ Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
+ Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
+ Comfortable handling HR and recruitment data responsibly
+ Able to create clear reports and dashboards
+ Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
+ Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently.
+ Ability to prioritize and resolve issues under deadlines.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
+ Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.

**Compensation:** $17.50 per hour, varies depending on the education level
**Schedule** : Full-Time (up to 40 hours per week) from **May 18th, 2026 to August 14th, 2026** following a Hybrid Schedule
