Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist Sr is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods internal and external. With this role's greater level of experience the Talent Acquisition Specialist Sr can manage technical and non-technical exempt professional positions and management positions and other related responsibilities as assigned. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal guidance. This role can also serve as a useful resource to other less seasoned Talent Acquisition employees.
Essential Job Functions Tasks:
1. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
2. Partners with hiring manager and HR Business Partner to determine staffing needs.
3. Screens resumes interviews candidates by phone or in person administers appropriate assessments and reference/ background checking makes recommendations for hire or not hire and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
4. Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.
5. Uses traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs on-line job fairs community network events etc. to identify and attract quality candidates.
6. Partners with Sourcing Specialist in order to bring a diverse slate of qualified candidates to the hiring manager.
7. Manages internal transfer process including screening coordination of interviews with hiring manager transfer offer letters etc.
8. Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
9. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
10. Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers e.g. benefits compensation non-compete agreements.
11. Responsible to ensure onboarding and new hire orientation processes occur.
12. Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including affirmative action plan compliance.
13. Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system ATS.
14. Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
15. Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
16. Takes the lead in the development of one or more annual Affirmative Action Plans.
17. Suggest and help implement on-going process improvements to ensure an effective efficient and compliant recruiting process.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.14 - $41.14/hr.
