**Role Definition:**
Provides expertise and leads in the entire hiring cycle, including recruiting, interviewing, reference checking, and making offer.
**What you will do:**
• Counseling hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization; leveraging data to drive decision-making.
• Recruiting, interviewing, checking references, making offers, and communicating orientation and start date plans for new employees.
• Utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools and industryleading sourcing technologies to deliver the most qualified candidates for current roles and building strong candidate pipelines for future roles.
• Developing plans for sourcing appropriate and diverse candidates, conducting the interview process, and extending offers to selected candidates while maintaining a low cost per hire.

**Relationship Management:** This competency is demonstrated when the professional maintains strong, ongoing partnerships with business leaders, conducting regular check-ins, gathering feedback on new hires, and adjusting processes as needed. It includes understanding the current state of operations, anticipating future staffing needs, and ensuring clear and reliable communication throughout the entire hiring cycle.
**Customer/Market Focus:** This competency becomes evident when the professional actively follows S&OP cycles, validates demand with impacted areas, and adapts recruitment efforts according to production requirements. It also involves managing the internal Talent Pipeline strategically and studying labor market trends to identify potential risks or impacts on manufacturing roles, consistently adding value through well‑grounded recommendations.
**Recruitment Channel Management:** This competence is shown when the professional selects the most effective channels for each type of role, balancing speed, quality, and cost. In practice, this means prioritizing internal movement when appropriate, engaging external partners or platforms as needed, and maintaining active pipelines for critical positions to ensure efficient access to qualified candidates.
**Staffing and Recruiting:** This competency is displayed when the professional manages the end‑to‑end recruiting process with organization and agility, aligning requirements with hiring managers, performing targeted sourcing, and presenting qualified candidates with clear and relevant information. It also includes prioritizing roles based on business urgency, using FIFO logic to maintain flow, and ensuring transparent communication with both managers and candidates.
**Workforce Analytics:** This competency is demonstrated when the professional uses Workday data and workforce metrics to support recruitment decisions. It involves identifying bottlenecks in the hiring process, analyzing trends such as turnover or time‑to‑fill, and providing clear insights that help leaders make informed decisions and improve overall hiring efficiency.
**Basic requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Pre-advanced English
**Top Candidates will also have:**
- Advanced English and Intermediate Spanish
- Experience working in high‑volume recruiting environments, preferably within manufacturing or industrial operations, where speed, accuracy and process discipline are critical.
- Practical knowledge of Lean principles, using tools such as problem‑solving (5 Why’s), standard work, value‑stream thinking and waste elimination to improve recruiting efficiency.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement culture, applying small, frequent adjustments to sourcing, screening and communication workflows to reduce lead time and enhance candidate experience.
- Exposure to Agile practices, such as managing work through Kanban boards, prioritizing tasks based on business impact, running short cycles of feedback with hiring managers, and adjusting quickly to changes in production demand.
- Ability to collaborate closely with operations, HR partners and cross‑functional teams, ensuring talent strategies support the rhythm and needs of the factory.
