Overview
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for owning and driving the full recruitment lifecycle within a construction organization. This role manages 5–10 requisitions at a time, builds scalable hiring processes, and partners closely with leadership to drive workforce planning and long‑term talent strategy. Construction industry experience is required.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for 5–10 requisitions across operational, technical, and leadership roles
• Conduct intake meetings to understand role requirements, team needs, and timelines
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, construction networks, associations, referrals, and proactive outreach
• Screen and evaluate candidates for skill alignment and cultural fit
• Schedule and facilitate interviews, debriefs, and feedback loops
• Advise hiring managers on hiring decisions, market trends, compensation insights, and competitive data
• Maintain strong candidate relationships and ensure a best‑in‑class candidate experience
• Build and maintain ongoing talent pipelines for future hiring needs
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, future project needs, and long‑term staffing strategy
• Create high‑quality job postings and role profiles
• Track and report recruiting metrics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
• Continuously refine recruiting processes to drive efficiency, speed, and quality of hire
• Support employer branding and outreach efforts to attract top construction talent

Skills and Requirements
• Proven experience in talent acquisition within the construction industry
• Ability to manage 5–10 active requisitions at once
• Strong experience with full‑cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding
• Ability to build, refine, and optimize recruiting processes and efficiencies
• Experience partnering closely with stakeholders, hiring managers, and leadership
• Strong understanding of talent markets, hiring best practices, and workforce planning
• Ability to provide strategic recommendations to improve hiring outcomes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Experience supporting operational, skilled trades, and field‑based roles
• Familiarity with construction project staffing cycles and labor forecasting
• Experience with employer branding and building pipeline communities
• Knowledge of ATS systems and recruiting analytics
• Experience developing recruitment playbooks, templates, and intake processes
• Experience in a rapidly growing or scaling construction or industrial environment
