How you will create an impact Reporting to the APAC Talent Acquisition Lead, you will drive the full-cycle recruitment for AIG Malaysia. You will act as a talent acquisition advisor to the business, delivering high-quality hires through proactive sourcing, strong stakeholder management and operational excellence. To succeed in this role, you will: + Serve as the dedicated recruitment advisor to business leaders and HR partners. Understand hiring needs, market dynamics, and provide consultative support throughout the hiring process. + Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles at all levels across both markets, ensuring timely, efficient and high-quality hiring outcomes. + Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to build robust, diverse talent pools. + Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and HR colleagues. Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies to ensure value and alignment. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ATS. Provide meaningful recruitment metrics and insights to support data-driven decisions. + Ensure all recruitment activities comply with global standards and local regulatory requirements. Streamline talent acquisition processes for optimal efficiency and effectiveness. + Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation coordination and pre-joining formalities when required. + Contribute to regional and global HR/TA initiatives as required. + Other ad hoc duties assigned. What you’ll need to succeed + Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment in a corporate or agency environment, preferably with a multinational organization. Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred. + Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a true talent advisor. + Expertise in proactive sourcing, talent mapping and direct recruitment methods. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment. + High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. Collaborative team player with strong communication and influencing skills. + Self-motivated, resilient and adaptable.
