Systems Test Engineer
Job Title: Systems Test EngineerJob Description

The Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for planning and orchestrating verification and validation activities, focusing on the right-hand side of the V Model. This role emphasizes test planning, procedure development, leadership in Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and ensuring documentation quality. The main objective is to develop robust test strategies across software, electrical, and environmental disciplines to support space flight programs.

ResponsibilitiesOwn the planning and orchestration of verification and validation activities.Develop and implement robust test strategies across software, electrical, and environmental disciplines.Lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and ensure high-quality documentation.Develop test plans and procedures from scratch.Conduct validation and verification activities.Perform environmental testing in accordance with MIL-STD-810 standards.Support integration and testing processes.Essential SkillsProficiency in technical writing and test procedure development.Experience in the defense industry.Ability to develop and execute test plans and test procedures.Strong written communication skills.Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 standards.Expertise in verification and validation processes.Integration and testing skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related degree.Work Environment

The company employs 40 individuals, most of whom are engineers. This position will be the first to directly support systems testing efforts. Employees enjoy the opportunity to set precedents for future testing processes within the organization.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $73.00/hr.
