Job Title: Systems Test EngineerJob Description We are seeking a skilled Systems Test & Integration Engineer with a focus on vehicle systems. The role involves leading vehicle-level system integration, testing, and vendor coordination, with an emphasis on integrating sensors such as lidars, cameras, and radars into vehicles. The engineer will work closely with external partners and support fleet testing to ensure systems are production-ready. Responsibilities + Lead system integration, verification, and validation through bench, vehicle, and fleet testing with a vendor. + Own system integration test plans for vehicle, including execution and pass/fail reporting of radars, lidars, and cameras. + Coordinate with vendors and integration partners to align deliveries and resolve integration issues. + Integrate DC-DC power, power sequencing, and power distribution systems into the vehicle. + Support compute, sensor, and harness integration, ensuring mechanical fit and coverage validation for vehicles. + Drive fleet testing, issue triage, and root cause analysis. + Define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, and test documentation. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or related fields). + 7+ years of experience in system integration, test engineering, or vehicle systems. + Hands-on experience with vehicle hardware/software integration and testing. + Strong cross-functional and vendor coordination skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with automotive standards and vehicle electrical systems preferred. + Experience working with sensors such as cameras, radar, LiDAR, IMU, ECU. + Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and tools. + Experience in autonomous vehicles or automotive industry is preferred. Work Environment The position is based in Santa Clara, CA and requires in-office presence 5 days a week. The engineer will work in a two-person team, directly collaborating with vendors to develop the product. The role involves working with new autonomous vehicle technology, supporting firmware and hardware development. This high-visibility team offers a significant chance for a direct position. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mountain View, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
