About the Team

The Systems Sales Engineer team at Nutanix is a dynamic, technology-driven group located in South Florida. This team is characterized by a collaborative culture that emphasizes strong relationship-building with customers and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The mission of the team is to achieve technical wins for customers by ensuring they prefer Nutanix's technology solutions and to support their adoption journeys effectively.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, Systems Engineer, who fosters a supportive and growth-oriented environment that encourages self-starters to take on significant roles. The manager values the development of interpersonal relationships and prioritizes team members' engagement with customers both inside and outside the office. This role is primarily remote, although the team may have intermittent in-office days depending on specific needs or team-building events.

This position requires approximately 30% travel, which largely consists of local travel within the South Florida area, as 98% of the accounts are located there. Attendance at events such as SKO and GTS will also be part of the travel expectations, allowing for further professional networking and engagement opportunities.

Your Role Collaborate with account executives to prioritize tasks and drive sales processes effectively. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate technology adoption. Showcase the advantages of Nutanix technology to clients to achieve technical wins. Create training materials and resources to support customer onboarding and platform utilization. Proactively identify and resolve obstacles in customer adoption journeys. Engage in continuous learning to remain updated on relevant technology advancements. Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and strategies for performance improvement. Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and career growth opportunities within the team. What You Will Bring 5 to 10 years of experience in systems engineering or sales engineering. Expertise in Kubernetes and strong knowledge of virtualization technologies. Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform. Familiarity with Nutanix technology is a plus. Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on customer trust development. Proactive problem-solving abilities and a self-starter mindset. Willingness to seek help when needed and pursue growth opportunities. Ability to develop and create training materials for customer technology adoption. Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,600 and USD $ 248,400 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
