Job Title: Systems Integration TechnicianJob Description

In this role, you will build, test, and troubleshoot subassemblies or finished products using layouts, wiring diagrams, and written instructions. You will also configure computer clients, servers, and switches in a network environment. You will perform system and subassembly inspections to verify quality requirements and assist other personnel performing Acceptance Test duties with customer representatives. Additionally, you will help diagnose system or unit problems, suggest and implement production improvements, assist engineers in performing and validating test procedures, and build prototype and new design hardware assemblies as required per engineering.

ResponsibilitiesBuild, test, and troubleshoot subassemblies or finished products.Configure computer clients, servers, and switches in a network environment.Perform system and subassembly inspections to verify quality requirements.Assist other personnel performing Acceptance Test duties with customer representatives.Help diagnose system or unit problems and suggest production improvements.Assist engineers in performing and validating test procedures.Build prototype and new design hardware assemblies as required per engineering.Essential SkillsProficiency in electronics, routers and switches, system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and electrical components.Understanding of power supply and telecommunication systems.2-year technical degree.Knowledge of AC/DC electrical system connections and electronic hardware assembly techniques.Experience in system configuration documentation for assembling and testing telecommunications equipment.Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals, including experience loading software applications on client and server computers.Work Environment

This position offers the opportunity to work in a small lab environment as part of a close-knit team of three technicians. The work environment includes both lab and office/engineering settings. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility on start times between 7:30 and 9:00 AM. The role provides an excellent opportunity to support systems integration for both hardware and software, offering stability and growth potential as part of a significant program.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
