The Opportunity Our Silicon Photonics Group is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Systems Engineer with a strong background in systems engineering and ATE to coordinate product definition for the next generation semiconductor test solution. The candidate identifies essential requirements and invents creative solutions by understanding the customer needs. The candidate will work closely with the product marketing and engineering development team to implement the new solution. + Responsible for system bring up, Factory acceptance, and site acceptance test + Understand all aspects of the test cell including high level components such as tester, prober, and/or handler. + Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and guide trade offs + Lead development activities, interface definitions, documentation, change requests, and supplier engagement for manufacturability + Drive long term product roadmap and act as a go-to person on the various subsystems within the system architecture All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position. + Bachelors of Science in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field + 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer for semiconductor test solutions + Experience with semiconductor production, including ATE, probers, Tester, Handler. + Exposure to design, assembly, and/or alignment of electro-optical systems with photonics components + Strong working knowledge of optical engineering with a mix of design and lab experience. + Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques + Strong ability to work cross-functionally, able to work with team on shared objectives and work quickly and collaboratively to solve problems and overcome challenges. + Strong communication skills, ability to communicate at different levels of abstraction and provide periodic updates to product and project managers. + Experience with manufacturing release and customer support is a plus. + Ability to travel domestically/internationally as needed (up to 30%) We are only considering candidates local to position location. We are unable to provide relocation for this position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Compensation The base salary range for this role is $ 111,300-$226,200 . This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location. Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
