We have an opening for either a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer to join our Phoenix program in El Segundo, CA.
Ground R&V manages the requirements and verification baseline at and below the ground segment. In this role you will ensure level 3 capability (aka element) requirements are (1) derived from and bi-directionally traced to Ground Segment requirements, (2) following program R&V processes at level 3, (3) complete with verification status & evidence when the capability is declared done by agile processes. You will coordinate with the System Integrators Requirements lead to ensure common process are followed and traces are bi-directional. You will collaborate on change management to the Ground Segment requirements. You will witness ground verification test events and author analysis and inspection reports with a team of SMEs.You will manage the ground segment verification status based on verification evidence conclusions and customer input. You will ensure Problem report (PR)/ Discrepancy Reports (DRs) are bi-directional traced to Ground Segment Requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with DOORS DXL scriptingExperience with VisioExperience with Technical WritingPrimary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
