As a Systems Engineer I, you will be part of a dynamic team working on mission-critical systems that process and archive remote sensing data. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle, collaborate with multidisciplinary experts, and contribute to projects with global impact. ResponsibilitiesDevelop systems that meet requirements within scope, schedule, and budget constraintsDevelop and document requirements, operational concepts, interface control documents, integration and test plans, and test casesDesign and research system interfaces to ensure integration and functionality of complete systemsPerform engineering and mathematical computations and analyze technical data from tests and studiesPrepare clear technical reports and supporting visualsCreate and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery of system components and milestonesCollaborate with team members and prepare and lead milestone reviewsManage priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyCommunicate technical details and system concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field0–2 years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skillsDesired SkillsAbility to conduct trade studies for technology upgrades, cloud services, and software updatesExperience with cloud solutionsKnowledge of image processing, database management, and software developmentProficiency with tools such as DOORS, Jira, and ConfluenceFamiliarity with Artificial Intelligence applications in Systems EngineeringExperience with Git

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Three years of continuous residency in the US for issuance of a Government Security credentialThe candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation after hiring to obtain a badge for government facility access and user account

Experience and/or Education in lieu of these qualifications will be reviewed for applicability to meet these requirements.
