Responsibilities

Guide systems engineering efforts for aviation‑focused defense programs, ensuring alignment between mission needs, hardware capabilities, and software functionalitySupport flight‑test operations, including preparation, on‑site engineering assistance, system integration, and post‑test data reviewDevelop and manage system‑level requirements, interface definitions, and verification strategies for airborne and ground‑based mission systemsCollaborate on the integration of electronic hardware, including sensors, processors, and communication modulesWork with RF and radio‑frequency subsystems, contributing to design discussions, troubleshooting, and performance assessmentsContribute to technical reviews and milestone assessments, providing engineering insight and risk identificationAdapt to evolving test conditions and program priorities, supporting hands‑on integration and system validation activities

Required Skills

Active Top Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, plus relevant professional experienceAt least four (4) years of engineering experience in systems, hardware, software, or related technical fieldsExperience applying systems engineering practices, including requirements development, interface management, and verification planningExposure to aviation or aerospace systems, particularly within defense environmentsHands‑on familiarity with electronic hardware and system‑level integrationUnderstanding of RF or radio‑electronics fundamentalsAbility to support flight‑test activities, including coordination with test teams and on‑site engineering workBasic knowledge of C++ or other programming languagesAbility to adjust to shifting technical and program demands

Preferred Skills
