Systems Engineer - Assay Development
--M-F 8am to 5pm
--Hybrid Minimum 3 days in office
--3-5 years of experience (ideally. Will take less especially with advanced degree)
-- Bachelors degree or higher education required.
Join our R&D team as a Systems Engineer, where you’ll help develop innovative diagnostic technologies. You’ll own system requirements, support risk management activities, and contribute to verification and validation efforts across projects. This role is highly cross‑functional and ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, system‑level thinking, and collaborating across engineering, science, and quality teams.
What You’ll DoWrite and manage system requirements for IVD/medical device productsPerform risk analyses (including FMEA) and support risk‑based decision‑makingContribute to system architecture design and V&V planningWork closely with multiple teams to balance tradeoffs and achieve alignmentWhat We’re Looking For
Must‑Have:
Requirements writing experience in a regulated industry (medical device preferred)Experience with risk management/FMEAStrong understanding of systems engineering principlesAbility to collaborate effectively across teamsNice‑to‑Have:
Assay development experience (especially cytology specimens)Experience with RETINA, LucidSpark, or LucidChartStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Oro Valley, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00/hr.
