Systems Engineer – Medical Device / IVD Description Systems Engineer - Assay Development --M-F 8am to 5pm --Hybrid Minimum 3 days in office --3-5 years of experience (ideally. Join our R&D team as a Systems Engineer, where you’ll help develop innovative diagnostic technologies. You’ll own system requirements, support risk management activities, and contribute to verification and validation efforts across projects. This role is highly cross‑functional and ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, system‑level thinking, and collaborating across engineering, science, and quality teams. What You’ll Do + Write and manage system requirements for IVD/medical device products + Perform risk analyses (including FMEA) and support risk‑based decision‑making + Contribute to system architecture design and V&V planning + Work closely with multiple teams to balance tradeoffs and achieve alignment What We’re Looking For Must‑Have: + Requirements writing experience in a regulated industry (medical device preferred) + Experience with risk management/FMEA + Strong understanding of systems engineering principles + Ability to collaborate effectively across teams Nice‑to‑Have: + Assay development experience (especially cytology specimens) + Experience with RETINA, LucidSpark, or LucidChart + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oro Valley, AZ.
