Position Overview

Seeking a Systems Engineering Contractor with strong expertise in Jama Connect, its APIs, and data‑driven tool development. This role focuses on building dashboards, automated reports, integrations, and workflows that improve requirements management efficiency and enhance traceability across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Jama Platform & Integration OwnershipManage and optimize integrations between Jama Connect and external tools (e.g., Jira).Use Jama APIs to extract structured data for dashboards, automated reporting, and analytics.Troubleshoot sync issues, workflow mismatches, and data integrity problems.2. Reporting, Dashboards & Data AutomationBuild scalable dashboards and reports using Jama data structures and external analytics platforms.Automate recurring reporting processes related to requirements, test coverage, and traceability.Develop tools and workflows to track validation maturity, test completeness, and system architecture alignment.Implement new data transformation methods to improve team efficiency.3. Requirements Traceability & Gap ClosureCreate and maintain complex traceability links across requirements, functions, risk analyses, and test artifacts.Support initiatives aimed at expanding and improving end‑to‑end traceability.4. Cross‑Functional CollaborationWork with engineering stakeholders to understand data, reporting, and workflow needs.Provide tool support, troubleshooting, and process improvements.Collaborate with systems engineers to refine reporting structures and integration requirements.5. User Enablement, Documentation & SOPsDevelop documentation, SOPs, and training materials for Jama‑related workflows.Train users on new tools, dashboards, integrations, or process improvements.6. Data Governance & MaintenanceManage recurring bulk data updates and round‑trip uploads to support data integrity.Maintain project structures, configurations, and relationship models inside Jama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $120.00/hr.
