Job Title: Systems Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a robust experience in space missions to join our dynamic team. This role involves building and supporting the construction of spacecraft, as well as providing assembly integration and test support. The ideal candidate will have launched spacecraft and is capable of leading and managing a team of systems engineers.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage a team of systems engineers.
+ Support the build and assembly of spacecraft.
+ Provide integration and test support for spacecraft projects.
+ Launch spacecraft in alignment with mission requirements.
+ Define and decompose system requirements.
+ Plan missions and design satellite systems.
+ Deliver hardware, including antennas, deployable components, and doors.
+ Conduct system verification and testing.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in systems engineering with a focus on aerospace applications.
+ Proficiency in spacecraft and satellite design and build.
+ Strong understanding of mission requirements and planning.
+ Expertise in hardware delivery and integration.
+ Ability to define and decompose requirements.
+ Experience with RF and software systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ experience in aerospace, satellite, and spacecraft engineering.
Work Environment
The role is based in a small office environment that encourages open communication and collaboration. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering the opportunity to contribute to critical deadlines and the success of large-scale programs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $91.34 - $95.00/hr.
