Our Client is looking to bring on a local to Miami Florida Gaming Systems Application Owner that will serve as the hands on operational owner and subject matter expert for assigned shipboard and shoreside gaming applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and alignment with business needs. The day involves monitoring application health, managing incidents, coordinating resolution efforts, and partnering with IT teams, vendors, compliance, and operational stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. The Application Owner supports enhancements and configuration changes by gathering requirements, validating solutions, and participating in testing and release planning to minimize business disruption. They provide guidance and troubleshooting assistance to shipboard teams, maintain documentation and operational procedures, participate in post mortem reviews, and identify opportunities for process improvements or system optimization. Regular updates are provided to leadership on issue status, upcoming releases, and operational risks, while balancing priorities in a high visibility, guest facing, 24/7 environment.

Skills and Requirements
• Over 8 years of experience in application support, application ownership, IT operations, or business systems support
• Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and production support
• General knowledge of enterprise technology (system integrations, data flows, infrastructure dependencies)
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management (ITIL a plus)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability in production or operational environments
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and nontechnical teams
• Experience working with cross functional teams and third party vendors
• Ability to remain effective during outages or high impact issues
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, ticketing/documentation tools, and business platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, ZenDesk, Wrike, O365) • Exposure to casino management systems, gaming systems, or regulated industries
• Experience supporting 24/7 operational environments (hospitality, travel, retail, gaming)
• Understanding of shipboard/remote operations
• Experience owning product roadmaps or driving enhancements
• Experience in highly distributed global environments
