Our client is seeking a highly skilled LogicMonitor Systems Administrator to join their dynamic team. As a LogicMonitor Systems Administrator, you will be instrumental in supporting the infrastructure and ensuring optimal system performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** LogicMonitor Systems Administrator
**Location:** Remote - must be in the United States and be able to work East Coast Hours
**Pay Range: 55/hr W2**
**(Due to client rules, we are unable to work with any 3rd party subcontrctors, all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2)**
**Duration: 6-12+ months**
**What's the Job?**
+ Administer and optimize the LogicMonitor platform, including configuring collectors, dashboards, alerting policies, and reports.
+ Implement and manage monitoring for servers, network devices, cloud resources, and applications, utilizing LogicMonitor data sources and custom integrations.
+ Collaborate with infrastructure, application, network, and security teams to evaluate monitoring coverage and ensure performance and availability metrics are accurately tracked.
+ Develop and maintain alert thresholds, escalation procedures, and notification policies to facilitate timely issue resolution.
+ Automate monitoring workflows and alerting processes using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Groovy, Bash, and LogicMonitor APIs.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven experience administering and optimizing LogicMonitor or similar observability platforms.
+ Strong knowledge of monitoring configuration for various IT environments, including hybrid and cloud infrastructures.
+ Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Groovy, or Bash for automation tasks.
+ Ability to configure and manage third-party integrations and vendor monitoring modules (e.g., ServiceNow, VMware, Dell).
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
