Annapurna Labs, as part of AWS, is looking for an experienced system validation engineer to help define, shape, and integrate cutting-edge solutions for the next generation of our cloud platforms.
In this role you will set the validation strategy for the interface you own, ensure the design worked well, and drive complex system debugs involving HW, FW and SW components. You will work at an amazingly broad scale and will also provide leadership, by driving the teams around you to raise the bar and deliver higher quality products on behalf of Amazon customers. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you will work with thought leaders in multiple areas of technology. You will set high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and will be constantly looking for ways to improve the performance, quality, cost and reliability of AWS products and services. Key job responsibilities
- Define new products’ validation strategies and leading their execution
- Support ongoing integration of new products
- Lead triage, debugging and root cause analysis of systems in AWS data centers
- Provide Annapurna Labs’ ASIC design, SW development, QA and architecture teams information and requirements from validation perspectives

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of hands-on hardware validation experience.
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting integrated systems across software, firmware, and hardware components.
- Demonstrated expertise with high-speed Ethernet protocols, SerDes architecture, and physical layer implementation.
- Experience in Python and Bash scripting within a Linux environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces and debugging techniques.
- Experience designing servers and compute system architectures.
- Proficiency with operating systems, boot loaders, networking, and remote debugging.
- Hands-on lab experience with racks, cabling, interconnects, and physical server infrastructure.
